Your First Session

After our initial consultation, you will have a clear idea of what to bring along as we begin this journey. Our first meeting is a gentle time for contracting, setting ethical boundaries, and providing you with reassurance. It is a no-pressure space where we can start building our therapeutic relationship. You will have all the time you need to share what is on your mind in a kind, non-judgemental environment, as we decide together on a plan for weekly or fortnightly sessions.

I understand that you might feel a little nervous about starting, which is perfectly natural. It is also completely normal if this first appointment feels a bit lost or uncertain at times. If you are choosing hypnotherapy, I will spend time preparing a bespoke script just for you. Whether we use counselling or hypnotherapy, our first appointment together ensures you feel safe and truly heard.

By the end of this session, we will have established a secure foundation and a clear path forward, allowing you to move towards your goals with confidence and steady support.
