Your guide to calm Mansfield support and gentle online therapy sessions

online counselling FAQs

Our initial session provides a peaceful, secure environment to discuss your needs. As my FAQs describe, we move at a pace that feels right for you, honoring your story with empathy and genuine care.

Can I see a schedule of your session rates?

For transparency on costs, please check the Fees page and my homepage for more detail.

In what ways is my personal data protected?

Your confidentiality is my highest priority. We will explore how your data is handled when we begin our sessions. Full details are available on the dedicated Privacy, Safety & Policies page for you.

Is it normal to feel unsure at first?

Feeling hesitant is very common. We start precisely where you are, gently unraveling complex emotions. This patience helps you build a new perspective and gain the inner peace needed to move forward.

What is the process of hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation that helps your mind accept helpful, positive shifts. You maintain autonomy and awareness as we work to dissolve stress and build better routines. You can find comprehensive details on the Hypnotherapy page and find additional tools on my Resources page for extra help.

Will I ever feel better after domestic violence or a difficult relationship?

Yes. With the right support, relationships with ourselves and others can begin to heal. In our work together, I offer warmth, honesty and respect so you feel safe, believed and never blamed. This kind of relationship can empower deep change, not by judging or analysing you, but by offering the core conditions that allow steady, often surprisingly rapid, healing.

Do you offer a non-judgmental space?

Absolutely. I recognize that every individual has a different path, and I am here to accept you without reservation. My aim is to walk alongside you, respecting your specific experiences while ensuring our therapeutic work proceeds at a speed that feels entirely comfortable and safe for you.

What’s the difference between hypnotherapy and counselling?

Counselling and hypnotherapy are two different but complementary ways of supporting your emotional wellbeing. Counselling focuses on talking through your experiences, feelings and patterns at your own pace. Hypnotherapy uses a gentle, focused state of relaxation to work with the subconscious mind and support change from a deeper level. We can work with either approach on its own, or blend them thoughtfully when it feels right for you.
